European top level radio executives to open Radiodays Europe 2010

Two of  Europe’s foremost leaders in radio will deliver the opening keynote speeches at the first RADIODAYS EUROPE. Tim Davie, Director of BBC Audio & Music and Christophe Montague, CEO of NRJ International Operations have confirmed their participation. 

− The theme of the opening keynotes is the future of radio.  Radio is a beloved medium, available anywhere and anytime at a click of a button.  But it is being increasingly challenged by TV, the web, iPods and changing media consumption. How can radio broadcasters embrace new technologies, innovate and create new attractive content and services combining the efficiency of broadcasting and the interactivity of the web? says Project Manager Rolf Brandrud. 

Other speakers who have confirmed their participation at RADIODAYS EUROPE include creativity guru Jens-Uwe Meyer, Germany, Internet radio expert Rockie Thomas, USA, and media futurist James Cridland, UK. 

Support from private and public broadcasters
RADIODAYS EUROPE is the most important radio conference in Europe 2010, bringing together private and public service broadcasters from all over the continent. 

 − RADIODAYS EUROPE has gathered widespread support from European radio industry organisations like the EBU, AER and EGTA.  Radio professionals from 13 countries have been involved in the profiling and programming of RADIODAYS EUROPE, says Project Manager Anders Held.
