Dr Roberto Suárez Candel is the managing director of SOUTH 180, a Switzerland-based international consulting company specialized in foresight, strategy and impact. Roberto Suárez advises boards, CEOs and management teams on how to think strategically and operate with a greater focus on value creation. He is also specialized in orchestrating public affairs and stakeholder management plans to achieve greater influence capabilities as well as a stronger reputation. He helps organizations become more relevant, effective and impactful. Previously, Roberto was the Head of Strategy & Media Intelligence of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) (2012-2020). Before, he worked as an academic researcher and lecturer focused on media policy in Germany, Sweden and Spain. He holds a PhD in Social Communication.
