Kevin “Jedi” Barton is a visionary creative executive, filmmaker, and producer whose career spans music, marketing, and storytelling across global platforms. He began by launching the largest Urban Music department in Canada at Universal Music Group, pioneering experiential marketing campaigns that became national industry standards. Later, as Head of Mobile Marketing for Cable & Wireless in the Caribbean, he redefined the brand’s creative strategy and led its landmark World Cup Cricket sponsorship, fusing culture and commerce on an international stage. An Emmy-nominated and Peabody Award–winning filmmaker, Kevin expanded his expertise into visual storytelling, collaborating with Bell Media to develop mobile-first content and integrating user experience design into entertainment formats. Today, Kevin is a Partner at Loft Entertainment, where he shapes the company’s creative and strategic vision across film, television, music, and live experiences. He also serves as Executive Producer of Departure, a reimagined cultural festival and conference that unites the worlds of music, technology, art, comedy, and thought leadership.
