Stefan Möller is President of the Association of European Radios (AER), headquartered in Brussels. AER represents more than 5,500 member stations across the European Union, advocating for radio’s role in a rapidly evolving media landscape. In addition to his European leadership, Stefan serves as Managing Director of RadioMedia, the trade body for commercial radio in Finland, and as Chairman of the Board of Radioplayer Finland, helping drive innovation and collaboration in audio services nationwide. Stefan’s professional journey began behind a drum kit, before he moved into broadcasting at Finland’s public service broadcaster, YLE. He later transitioned to the commercial media sector, where he has built a broad, hands-on career across both creative and executive roles. His work has included positions as a presenter and actor, as well as creative leadership, marketing direction, consulting, and entrepreneurship. Over the years he has founded radio stations, guided brand and audience growth, and served as Director of Radio, combining editorial instincts with strategic vision. With experience spanning performance, production, management, and industry advocacy, Stefan brings a unique blend of creativity and leadership to the future of European radio.
