Nahrein Kemp is an award-winning TV and film professional and innovative leader who has created ground breaking initiatives which have created real impact and change in the composition of the screen industries by opening the door to those from underrepresented backgrounds. Nahrein has over 20 years’ industry experience across genres in development and as a producer and was a recipient of the WFTV Achievement of the Year and is a member of the Mayor of London’s Jobs and Skills Business Partnership in recognition of her expertise on talent and skills. As DEI & Talent Lead at ITV, Nahrein created the Amplify brand of initiatives - Amplify 1 for senior People of Colour (POC), Amplify 2 for Deaf, Disabled and Neurodivergent people and Amplify: The Companies - an initiative for diverse led companies. She leads Step Up 60, with over 200 people from underrepresented groups ‘stepping up’ on ITV shows including Post Office Vs Mr Bates and leads Fresh Cuts, a BAFTA-nominated documentary strand for underrepresented talent. She regularly works with commissioners and producers to deliver the ITV Diversity Acceleration Plan and the £80m Diversity Commissioning Fund, funding projects from diverse talent.
