Michael Dujardin

Channel Director, Qmusic (DPG Media)

Michael Dujardin is a Belgian media executive with broad experience at the intersection of music, media and live entertainment. Over the course of his career he has contributed to the development and growth of several well-known media and music brands in Belgium. He first made his mark in the music television industry, where he played an important role in the success of the iconic channels TMF and JIM. During this period, Michael helped position both brands as strong cultural platforms for young audiences, combining music programming with distinctive marketing and brand storytelling. He later moved to VTM, where he led the marketing communications for Belgium’s leading commercial television network. In this role, Michael was responsible for brand strategy, large-scale campaigns and audience engagement initiatives across multiple platforms. Afterwards he joined the globally renowned festival Tomorrowland as Head of Marketing & Media. There he oversaw the festival’s communication strategy, content development and international media partnerships, helping support the continued global growth and visibility of the brand. Since 2021, Michael has been leading Qmusic Belgium as Channel Director. During this period the station has further strengthened its position as the country’s leading commercial radio brand. His approach focuses on strong audience activations, memorable events and clear brand storytelling. An important element of this strategy is the integration of radio with digital platforms, social media and live experiences to engage younger audiences, including Gen Z. Outside of work, Michael enjoys traveling and discovering new cultures around the world. His curiosity for people, music and global trends continues to inspire both his personal life and professional outlook.
