Jan-Henrik Schmelter has built a distinguished career in radio broadcasting spanning more than two decades. He began as a freelancer at stations including Mix 96.5 in Houston, USA, radio ANTENNE Münster, and radio NRW in Germany from 1996 to 1999. From 1999 to 2004, he was Morning Show Host at Radio NORA, before stepping into leadership as Program Director at Radio NORA (2004–2006) and later at RADIO PSR (2006–2010). Since 2010, Jan-Henrik has successfully combined roles as CEO and Program Director of RADIO BOB!, one of Germany’s leading rock stations, overseeing programming, strategy, and growth. Academically, Jan-Henrik holds a Master of Arts in journalism and communication sciences, economics, and sports sciences, completed in 1999.
