I am Chairperson of the Latvian Advertising Association, a position I have held since 2014. I have 30 years of experience in advertising, media strategy, and agency management, working across agencies and industry organizations. Alongside my industry work, I teach advertising and media planning at Riga Stradiņš University and RISEBA University of Applied Sciences, contributing to the education of future communication professionals. Earlier in my career, I held senior roles at the media agency Carat and worked as a media strategist and agency director in Latvia. I hold a Master’s degree in Information and Communication Sciences and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and have completed Mini MBA programs in Marketing and Brand Management. My professional interests include media strategy, advertising governance, and education, with a focus on strengthening transparency, effectiveness, and professional standards in the advertising industry.
