Gints Miķelsons is a senior media and technology executive with over 25 years of experience across IT, telecommunications, media, and construction sectors. He has held leadership roles in business management, organizational development, change management, and the creation of new services, as well as in large-scale technology and infrastructure projects. Gints has extensive experience in management consulting, company strategy development, and execution, along with building and leading multidisciplinary professional teams. He previously served as a Member of the Board of Latvian Television, where he was responsible for technology and infrastructure management and development. Actively involved in civil society, Gints has led and participated in several non-governmental organizations and actively promotes cooperation among Baltic media technology companies, particularly in the areas of security and sustainable development. Since 2025, Gints has been responsible for the management and development of the broadcasting business direction at LVRTC, including media infrastructure security solutions for emergency and crisis situations.
