Guilhem Delteil is a senior reporter at RFI and has been covering the Middle East for over twenty years. From 2005 to 2007, he was in charge of French-language programming at Radio Qatar (now Oryx FM) in Doha. Upon his return to France, he joined RFI. In 2016, Guilhem was appointed head of RFI's Jerusalem bureau and spent over four years covering Israeli and Palestinian news. In 2021, he returned to Paris and joined the Middle East desk. He continues to work on the region and carries out assignments in Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Syria, as well as making further visits to Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territory. Since October 7, 2023, he has visited the region numerous times. He is the author of the podcast “Palestiniens” (“Palestinians”) and co-author, with two other former heads of the RFI bureau in Jerusalem, of the podcast “Carte d’identités: Israéliens” (“Identity Card: Israelis”) published by RFI.
