Henriette Engbersen embarked on her professional journey in journalism and communication with her studies at ZHAW in Winterthur, specializing in "Journalism & Communication". Following her bachelor graduation she began her career at the tv station “TeleOstschweiz” before transitioning to the Swiss public broadcaster, called SRF, in 2008. While working for the biggest daily news programme "Tagesschau" Engbersen pursued further academic enrichment, earning a master's degree in "Visual Communication" from ZHdK. From 2017 to March 2022, Engbersen served as SRF's foreign correspondent in London. In February 2023, Engbersen assumed the role of head of the "Public Value" department at SRG (Switzerland’s public broadcaster) in Bern. Her responsibilities encompass assessing the public value of SRG, overseeing research, systematic dialog with the audience and implementing initiatives such as combating disinformation. In April 2024 she received a CAS in Advocacy & International Public Affairs at the Geneva Graduate Institute.
