Kristian Müller

Founder & Managing Director, Radiozeit GmbH

Kristian Müller is a Berlin-based technology entrepreneur, inventor, and founder of Radiozeit, the company behind an internationally patented technology for real-time speech recognition in live radio streams. His technology enables broadcasters to automatically transcribe and analyze live audio in a scalable and affordable way, making spoken radio content searchable, measurable, and accessible for the first time. Today, Radiozeit processes more than 100,000 hours of live radio every month across more than 150 stations in multiple countries, including Germany and, for example, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Australia. The platform powers applications such as live subtitles for TV & radio, advertising detection, content monitoring, and searchable audio archives, helping broadcasters and regulators monitor thousands of hours of programming every day. The technology is also used by German media regulators for broadcast monitoring and compliance. Kristian is also the founder and managing director of mixd.tv, a media technology company that builds large-scale metadata systems and data platforms for broadcasters and digital media companies. Projects have included backend architecture for the ARD and Bayerischer Rundfunk Mediathek as well as metadata platforms for companies such as Tamedia, Burda, and Media Broadcast. He holds degrees in computer engineering and embedded systems from the Berlin University of Applied Sciences and Technology. Kristian focuses on turning advances in AI into practical tools that help broadcasters analyze, understand, and work with spoken audio in their daily workflows.
