Liedewij Hentenaar is the Director of Audify, the Dutch audio marketing organisation and Industry body representing all makers and users of advertising-supported radio and audio. All national and regional audio (radio and podcast) publishers in the Netherlands are part of Audify. After nearly twenty years in various roles across leading media agencies, she joined Audify in 2013, bringing her media-agency expertise to strengthen the position of audio in brand building and marketing strategies. Audify’s mission is to make audio work, to help brands grow through the power of sound. Liedewij represents Audify as partner and stakeholder in two ‘chambers’ of the National Media Research (NMO): Listening and Crossmedia. The Listening chamber oversees the national audience measurement for radio (weekly listening figures) as well as the NMO standards for podcasts and streaming audio. Internationally, she represents Audify within RadioDays Europe, the World Radio Alliance, and EGTA
