Teresa is the Project Manager with Learning Waves, the training body for the Independent Radio Sector in Ireland. Teresa has been at the helm of Learning Waves since its inception in 2004. In her role as Network Director, Teresa oversees the design, development and delivery of training and networking events which are bespoke to the sector. In addition to this Teresa is responsible for securing funding for such training programmes and events. Teresa was instrumental in the development of a Gender, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy for the Independent Radio Sector in Ireland in 2024. From carrying out initial research in this area, Teresa co-ordinated a group from across the sector to develop the strategy which was successfully launched in 2024. In addition to the above, Teresa has played a key role in the development of training programmes aimed at recruiting new talent into the industry since 2015. She has worked with the industry to design the programmes and secure funding for the programmes.
