Product Manager for Sound, Aftenposten, Norway

Lena Beate Hamborg Pedersen works as a product manager for sound at the national Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten. For the last 1.5 years she has worked with text to speech experiments and with developing a Norwegian cloned voice. The voice is a copy of one of Aftenposten's well known podcast hosts. Since March it has been possible to listen to most articles in Aftenposten with this cloned voice. Before Lena moved over to a role in product management 10 years ago, she had a long career in NRK both as a radio news presenter, producer, executive producer, reporter and documentarist.
