Johannes Ott’s broadcasting career began in 1998 at the local station Radio Lindau on Lake Constance. In 1999, he moved to the Baden-Württemberg regional station Radio 7, where he worked as a presenter and editor of the morning show. From 2004 to 2015, Ott worked at Antenne Bayern, where he was in charge of on-air promotion, among other things. In 2015, the 43-year-old joined Germany’s first private radio station Radio Gong 96.3 in Munich as Programme Director and has been CEO of the station since January 2021. Ott has won the “German Radio Award” four times with Radio Gong.
