Panagiotis Menegos was born in Athens. He studied Marketing & Communication at Athens University of Economics and Business and Media & Cultural Studies at the University of Sussex. Since 2008 he’s been presenting Λατερνατιβ, a daily morning radio show now at En Lefko.87.7.
In the past he contributed at various positions to many, print and on-line, greek media outlets. He was also employed in music festivals comms and worked with various brands as consultant/content creator.
With over two decades of hands-on experience in Media Research, Georgia has left her mark in both leading research agencies and the vibrant world of radio in Athens. As the Head of the Tracking Committee for Radio Audience Rating Survey, she spearheaded transformative initiatives to ensure the accuracy and impact of the Currency Research Survey.
A lifelong enthusiast of data, Georgia has recently ventured into the financial realm joining one of Greece’s largest telecommunication companies, yet, for her, the world of radio is not just a career—it’s a love story that continues to inspire her every step of the way.
Dirk Soetens is a senior market intelligence manager for Var/VRT with an experience of more than 25 years in media research. He is specialized in media effectiveness studies of audio advertising campaigns. Var is the media sales house of the public broadcaster VRT in Belgium (Dutch speaking part). He has a master in economic science and has a specific interest in innovative approaches towards research methodologies and in new marketing trends.
Betty Tsakarestou is an Associate Professor and Director of the Advertising and Public Relations Lab at Panteion University, where she also co-leads the MA in Digital Transformation and serves as Scientific Coordinator of CREATIVE+, the university’s innovation hub.
She is a board member of Greece’s Institute of Communication and EACA’s edcom, as well as Branding Officer for the AEJMC International Communication Division. Betty mentors entrepreneurs through EnvolveXL and The People’s Trust and has initiated collaborations with leading businesses, media, and Athens’ tech startup ecosystem to bridge academia with industry innovation.
An international exchange scholar with the U.S. Department of State, she specializes in branding, PR, startups, and social innovation. Betty has co-organized hackathons, startup weekends, and innovation bootcamps, with a focus on audio and radio innovation since 2018.
