Thomas Giger from PURE Jingles, introduced delegates to how radio stations can boost their ratings with a unique sound.
Thomas brought two other people onstage with him. Steven Lemmens, from Studio Brussels, told delegates what they had learnt while rebooting their station. They changed their logo and imaging but they wanted to be bolder. They made dramatic changes to their schedule, taking the presenter from the evening show on at breakfast.
Delegates also heard from Staxx Williams, from Z100. Staxx talked about the importance of thinking visually when broadcasters write about brands.
This was a diverse and fast-paced session. The main takeaway? There are benefits to mixing things up, even when the sun is shining!
