Susan Matthews is Slate’s executive editor and the host of the seventh season of Slow Burn, on Roe v. Wade. Before becoming Slate's executive editor, Susan edited the science and jurisprudence sections of the magazine. Before joining Slate, she launched and edited Audubon.org. She is a graduate of Dartmouth College, and lives in Brooklyn.
