Born in France in 1971 in his own words he ‘was raised on radio’ although he has also gone on to have a successful career in TV presenting also mainly recognisable from Laurent Ruquier’s sketch comedy show On n’demande qu’à en rire, 2014 and for hosting many TV shows on the national channel France 2, the second largest station in France in terms of audience. For those of you who also speak his mother tongue he is known for a number of voice over rolls in cartoon favorites “Ice age”, “Happy feet”, “Bee movie”, “Dragons” and more.
During his career Bruno has worked for some of the top stations in France including a stint at NRJ, one of France’s premier commercial stations, taking their morning show to the number one spot for the first time since the stations creation. After this he moved to Virgin Radio before becoming the much loved host of Fun Radio’s breakfast show.
Bruno’s fun show is supported by a team as well as his 114K followers who are a key part of the show. His fun style attracts guests and DJs from around the world who crawl out of bed to join him in the studio something which as every breakfast show host knows is not always so easy!
This is a man who never stops and after hanging up his radio mic for the summer for Fun Radio he went out in search of the French dream with his show for RTL ‘Guillon prend le soleil’ or ‘Guillon takes the sun’. This was a virtual guide to France region by region, set up so the audience could choose where they were going and also included tips on cookery for the region, sights to visit, animals to see, a look at daily at the regional news and much more – the ultimate travel show from the comfort of a studio in Paris!
Bruno will be speaking on a panel at Radiodays Europe 2016, Paris on his rise to the top and what makes him tick! A session and speaker for you to attend or you’ll miss all the FUN!
