This year’s Monday Radio Night, the feature accompanying event of Radiodays Europe, will be a night to remember. Radiodays’ host partner Czech Radio invites you to a unique event to celebrate not only the largest radio conference in Europe, but also Czech Radio’s own 100th anniversary. Come raise your glasses, dust off your dance moves and enjoy an epic party in the company of radio friends.
La Fabrika, the venue for this year’s party, provides the perfect atmosphere for a night of music, merriment and making connections. The refurbished old factory buildings have been transformed into a raw yet cozy labyrinth of spaces ideal for a big old party. With two stages, several bars, more than one catering location and various calmer lounge and outdoor areas, there will be no shortage of spots to fill your glass, grab a bite, bust a move or chat with colleagues. On the night of, doors will open at 19:00, so come grab a drink and scope out the scene before the feature live music performance at 20:00. And just who will be on stage? None other than Aiko herself. Winner of the Czeching competition for young talents and one of the most distinctive voices in new Czech music today, Aiko and her band will bring their signature atmospheric sound, hypnotic voice, euphoric choruses and rich pop arrangements to the Monday Radio Night stage. After Aiko, the prominent Czech DJ KEWU, a veteran of the Prague scene, will bring his fresh, energetic and genre-fluid sound and keep the party going.
And on the second stage? That’s right, Radiodays 2023 and Czech Radio’s centennial deserve two stages. Here the live musical performance will be kicked off by dné, a musician and producer who is no newcomer to the Czech electronic scene and beyond. His dreamy, ambient sound and thoughtful electronic songwriting know no borders. Later in the night, DJ Koxoy will take control of stage two and infuse the space with his signature energy. Look forward to a soundtrack full of tribal rhythms and blurry melodies for dancing around bonfires in the rainforest under a full moon. It’s a symphony of sounds with something for everyone, from tropical house to experimental dub.
Venue capacity is limited, so we strongly encourage you to arrive in good time. The event is organized exclusively by Czech Radio for Radiodays Europe 2023 ticket holders only – badges must be shown at the door. Welcome drinks, buffet food and of course superb Czech beer are included.
