One of Australian radio’s biggest and most talked-about personalities is coming to Palma, Mallorca.
We’re kicking off Radiodays Europe 2027 with a name that has spent more than 25 years getting people listening, talking – and sometimes arguing.
Kyle Sandilands will take to the stage for the keynote on Monday morning in Palma.
For more than two decades, Sandilands was one half of the hugely successful Kyle & Jackie O Show, building one of Australian commercial radio’s most recognisable breakfast partnerships. The show attracted major audiences, won multiple commercial radio awards and, at its peak, reached 797,000 Sydney listeners each weekday morning.
His broadcasting style has also made him one of Australian radio’s most controversial personalities. Provocative, unpredictable and rarely ignored, Sandilands has built a career around creating radio that gets people talking.
But in 2026, his career took a dramatic new direction.
Following the end of The Kyle & Jackie O Show and his departure from ARN, Sandilands launched a new subscription-based show – taking the familiar ingredients of live radio and delivering them directly to his audience through his own platform.
And that raises a question for our industry:
What happens when one of radio’s biggest personalities decides he doesn’t need a radio station?
At Radiodays Europe, we’re going to ask him.
John Simons will also ask him about 25+ years at the top of Australian commercial radio, the art of creating compelling live audio, building an audience relationship, controversy, what he has learned along the way – and why he is now betting on a very different way of reaching listeners.
For long-time Radiodays attendees, this won’t be Kyle’s first time on our stage. Sandilands joined us at Radiodays Europe in Paris in 2016 – and now, more than a decade later, he returns at a very different moment in his career.
Love him or hate him, you’ll want to be there.
Kyle Sandilands. Monday morning. Palma, Mallorca.
One thing it won’t be is boring.
