Barbara Gruber is a Program Director at DW Akademie, the journalism training and media development division of Deutsche Welle, Germany’s International Broadcaster, and leads the Akademie’s PodcasTraining Project Team. Since the beginning of 2021, the team has partnered with MethodKit in Sweden to develop the new MethodKit for Podcasts and designed various PodcasTraining modules that have been implemented in Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Malawi, Namibia, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Cambodia, Thailand and Ukraine.
