Radiodays Europe is pleased to welcome Alexandra Daskalopoulos, Founder and CEO of Frontstage Entertainment

Alexandra Daskalopoulos is Founder and CEO of Frontstage Entertainment, the No 1 Radio Group in Greece, for more than 6 consecutive years, owning 5 of the biggest and best loved music radio brands, with 33% of radio listeners tuning in to at least one of its stations daily. The company also operates an Events Production branch that organizes from big scale concerts (such as Guns n’ Roses live this past July) and festivals, to corporate events for third party clients. Frontstage’s radio roster includes “HiT”, a top 10 hot AC station, “Red”, the leading rock station in the country, “Melodia”, the No1 music radio station in ratings overall, “En Lefko”, an eclectic electronic station and “Kids Radio”, the first radio station for kids in Greece and one of the very few transmitting on FM worldwide. As a next step Frontstage is now launching “Kids Radio+”, a subscription version of the brand full of educational and entertainment audiobooks, videos and web radio stations for kids up to 9 years old.

For 10 years and up to 2023, Alexandra was actively involved first as Vice President and then as President of the Association of Greek Commercial Radio Stations (EIIRA), advocating for the vision of the Greek radio broadcasting industry and shaping policies that contribute to its development and evolution. She is also a Member of the Executive Committee of the Association of European Radios (AER), the Europe-wide trade body for commercial radio. Alexandra was included in the Greek “Fortune 40 under 40” two years in a row, and in 2022 she received the award for “Women Entrepreneur of the Year” by the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI).
