Radiodays Europe sponsors prizes for the “World Radio Contest” supported by UNESCO with the European Radio Show as part of World Radio Day 13th February 2019. The six lucky winners of this competition will be able to win tickets to either Radiodays Europe or Radiodays Asia depending on their geographical location (Radiodays Europe tickets for those in Europe and Radiodays Asia tickets for those in the AP region & Australia).

Radiodays Europe as the international meeting place for radio and audio professionals and is happy to welcome the winners of the World Radio Contest our theme for this year is “Sound Matters” we very much support the theme “Radio: A Vehicle for Dialogue, Tolerance and Peace”.
Radio stations are invited to produce a specific sound production or a production as part of a recurrent programme on their station under the theme “Radio: A Vehicle for Dialogue, Tolerance and Peace”. This production must be broadcast in a linear way (terrestrial and/or streaming) on 13 February 2019. The production should carry the message of the theme for World Radio Day. The angle, content, style… are left to the discretion of the producer. Productions in the form of series or episodes are accepted and recommended. In this case, one of the episodes of the series must be broadcast on 13 February 2019. The contest is open to all linear radios (FM, AM, DAB+, Webradio…) worldwide.
There will be 6 winners (1 station per language Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish) & 2 special prizes.
