Claudia Stöckl is one of the most famous radio personalities in Austria hosting the radio show “Frühstück bei mir” (transl.:“Breakfast at my place”) every Sunday on Ö3. She was born in 1966 in Vienna and was a fashion model in Paris in her twenties. Four years later Claudia returned to Austria to become a journalist for people’s and fashion magazines. She joined Ö3 as a reporter in 1992 and started „Frühstück bei mir“ in 1997, which is still on air. It is one of the highest profile radio shows in Austria.

In the last 20 years, Claudia has interviewed hundreds of national and international celebrities such as Robbie Williams, Conchita Wurst, Natascha Kampusch and Sebastian Kurz. While having breakfast people tell her about their private life and their expectations and hopes for the future.  Claudia has interviewed more than 750 personalities since the beginning of her show and out of the best episodes she wrote a book of the same title “Frühstück bei mir”.

Claudia studied four semesters of media studies and communication science in her youth and finished her studies several years later, when was 38. Claudia has a big family with three sisters and a brother. One of her sisters is the famous TV presenter Barbara Stöckl. Claudia has no children but is chair of the Austrian association “zuki – Zukunft für Kinder” in which she invests a lot of time. The project helps 300 children in the slums of Calcutta who are not capable of reading or writing and have no chance to go to school. The association builds houses for them and offers them education. One month of the year Claudia spends in India herself.
