Des is a presenter at Bauer Media for the Greatest Hits Radio and Magic brands, and the Executive Producer at The Content Works, an independent production company making video and audio content for brands and businesses. Radio was where it all began for Des, presenting for 10 years at the world-famous Capital Radio before hanging up the headphones and moving to MTV to look after the music programming team. The next stop was to Ministry of Sound where he ran the radio and television operations for this iconic brand as well as playing global DJ residencies. In 2012 Des launched The Content Works to create high-quality branded content and in 2019, Bauer Media persuaded him to put the headphones back on and join Greatest Hits Radio and Magic. Nearly 30 years working in and around radio has taught Des a huge amount about content and how to make it work for audiences, whatever the format.
