A McCanner at heart, Aleka began her career at McCann Worldgroup Greece before venturing into leading agencies and an impressive five-year freelance run. Now, as Executive Creative Director, she’s back at her creative home, leading with passion, innovation, and a relentless pursuit of ideas that challenge the status quo.

As a Product Manager at Radio France, Jade Sophia Valtat is at the forefront of innovation in audio and digital experiences. With a passion for creating seamless and engaging user experiences, she plays a key role in shaping the future of public radio in France.

Jade specializes in developing and optimizing digital products, ensuring that Radio France’s platforms meet the evolving needs of audiences in an ever-changing media landscape. Her expertise lies in product strategy, user experience, and technological innovation, making her a driving force behind new digital initiatives.

With a deep understanding of both content and technology, Jade is committed to enhancing the way people interact with audio, bridging the gap between traditional radio and the digital future.

Laurent Frisch is Head of Digital & Production / CDO at Radio France since October 2018. Graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and Télécom Paristech, he began in 1998 at France Telecom North America in New York City, as new media consultant. In 1999, he joined Orange Labs as dematerialization and cryptography project manager, and became in 2004 director for Security and Trust Technologies. In 2006, he then became director media & entertainment at Orange, in charge of launching the first French catch-up TV offer. In 2010, he was the Marketing Director for digital performance at the French yellow pages. He then managed the Digital for France Televisions between 2011 and 2014. He joined Radio France (French national public radio) in January 2015 as Head of Digital.

With over 40 years in radio, John Simons is a leading consultant for top broadcasters worldwide. A former presenter turned programming expert, he shaped the success of major brands like Real Radio, Smooth Radio, and Century FM, earning him the Gold Sony UK Programmer of the Year Award in 2004.

John’s career includes driving record audience growth at Talk Radio, leadership roles at LBC and BBC Radio 2, and 14 years as Group Programme Director for Guardian Media Group (now Global Radio). His ability to craft distinctive, personality-led stations has left a lasting impact on the industry.

A Fellow of the Radio Academy, John has also served as a trustee, chaired the Radio Festival Committee, and judged the Sony Radio Academy Awards—cementing his legacy as one of the most influential figures in radio.
