With a career encompassing production, presenting and management, Nik’s career includes Executive Producer for the Breakfast Show at Kiss 100 in London, Head of Music for Virgin Radio, Programme Director at Radio Forth in Edinburgh, and the PD of Capital FM in London.
Nik went on to launch a consultancy, specialising in music, radio programming, and audio content, collaborating with top-tier radio stations and media giants across Europe and beyond. In addition, he co-founded ‘Bounce,’ a cutting-edge production company crafting music, sound, and content for heavyweight clients, including the likes of BBC and Sky. Nik continues to be a passionate advocate of radio and the power of audio.
Marianna Marlagkoutsou holds a degree in Communication, Media, and Culture and is currently pursuing a master’s in Digital Marketing and Social Media. Since 2019, she has been an integral part of the team at DROMOS 89.8 radio, where she has taken on various roles, including producing and co-hosting the morning show, managing the station’s social media and website, and working on advertising campaigns and marketing initiatives.
Sofia Tawast is a Finnish journalist and educator with a passion for discussing pop culture, disability, and quality journalism. She is known for her engaging, straightforward, and humorous style. In her debut book, The Great Lie About Disability, which she co-wrote with disability activist Riikka Leinonen, Tawast addressed disability as both a personal and societal issue.
Tawast has nearly a decade of experience in audio journalism as a radio host, music journalist, and producer at the Finnish Broadcasting Company. During her time there, she spearheaded various podcast and social media content projects, including her own podcast series dedicated to horror culture.
As a non-disabled mother of a disabled child, Tawast is unafraid to laugh at her own mistakes and ask the “stupid” questions others might hesitate to. In her work, Tawast explores disability and representation from unexpected angles, offering insights that resonate with audiences in both their professional and everyday lives.
Martin Liss is an audio entrepreneur with a love of innovation, storytelling and digital. He is, among other things, co-owner of podcast360 GmbH and the management consultancy BUSCHMANN LISS. Before that, he was primarily making radio including as Programme Director of NRJ / ENERGY in Germany and Managing Director of their flagship station in Berlin. Martin ‘s other experience includes Programme Director at “MFD Mobiles Fernsehen Deutschland” and Managing Director at the YouTube network Mediakraft Productions. He’s been a judge of both the German Radio Awards and the German Podcast Award several times. He regularly speaks and consults on an international level.
