Laurie Palacio has over 17 years experience working within Wireless. He started as the ‘tea maker’ in 2003 and worked his way to his current role, taking in a variety of jobs from producing programmes and overseeing international football tournaments, to launching new sports radio services.
He now looks after key operational and managerial aspects of the award-winning station, as well driving the digital strategy – but always with a focus on audience and revenue targets.
talkSPORT is the world’s biggest sports radio station and is an official broadcaster of the Premier League, England football internationals and the EFL. The station also has the rights of England Cricket’s upcoming overseas tours and extensive boxing rights.
The radio station itself gets over 3 Million listeners a week, as well as having a very strong social media presence, making it undoubtedly one of the strongest sports broadcasters.
