Niina Jokiaho is Head of Radio Nova, Finland’s biggest commercial radio station. Radio Nova is part of Bauer Media Audio – Europe’s leading commercial radio broadcaster and global audio pioneer.
Niina has been a Journalist and a Producer in TV and Radio for 25 years. She started as radio host, worked as a tv-journalist at YLE news and current affairs and returned to commercial radio 8 years ago. Four years ago she was appointed Head of Radio Nova which has seen Niina and her team grow the station’s audience. Radio Nova is the commercial radio market Leader in finnish commercial radio business.
Niina Jokiaho has studied Economics and Political History at the University of Salford and graduated from the University of Tampere majoring in journalism. She is a big believer in facts, teamwork and good laughs. At Finland’s Radio Awards Niina has been rewarded as a Best Program Manager twice, 2017 & 2018, and Radio Nova as a Radio of the Year 2018 and 2019.
