Ana Ribera García-Rubio is Editor-in-Chief of Prisa Audio, where she manages and edits podcasts for Prisa Audio brands in Spain and Latin America, and Coordinator and Executive Producer of WePod, a transnational podcast production collaboration with nine partners from seven European countries.
Drawing on more than 20 years’ media production experience, Ana established collaboration processes among different Prisa Audio brands to stimulate the creativity of podcast professionals and produce the best audio projects in Spanish.
She has co-produced podcasts such as Hoy en El País; Sin control. El universo de Javier Milei; El enemigo. El crimen de la viuda de la CAM; La vida en jaque; and El Silencio roto from El País Audio. She has contributed to La caída del Apóstol, a podcast produced by El País América for Podimo, and ¿Quién mató a Ana Cook? by Podium Chile. At Podium, Ana worked on the narrative podcasts Criminopatía, Mujeres que corren, ¡Ay, campaneras!, La gran D, and Informe de los bosques, among others.
Every week Ana writes Sonograma, the podcast and audio newsletter for El País. She is author of two published books, “Cosas que (le) pasan a una madre sin superpoderes” (La Esfera de los Libros, 2008) and “Los días iguales” (Next Door Publishers, 2018). She has been invited to speak at several conferences, including the TEDx talk “¿Cómo alguien como tú puede tener una depresión?” in Valencia in 2019. She lives in Madrid.
