Ben Jones Virgin Radio UK to speak at Radiodays Europe 2022
Ben Jones has been a national radio broadcaster for over 20 years, across stations like Absolute Radio, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 5 Live and Heart. He also created the Iggy Pop show for BBC Radio 6Music. But Virgin Radio is, and always has been his spiritual radio “home”.
Joining the station in July 2001, Ben hosted shows across the schedule and from across the world, from live broadcasts in Australia to covering festivals such as Isle of Wight Festival, V Festival and T in the Park. He’s interviewed an array of the biggest names in the music business that include AC/DC, The Rolling Stones and multiple in-depth conversations with David Bowie. As a music broadcaster, Ben is genuinely a fan of the music he plays. He knows it inside and out, and it you can hear it every time he’s on the radio!
Ben is also the founder of Gimme Sugar Productions and creates audio and video music content for clients like Warner Music Group, Universal and music consultancy for Sony.
Ben can be heard nightly on Virgin Radio Anthems and Friday and Saturday from 7pm on Virgin Radio UK.
