With the doors open to the Tagus River, discover Lisbon. In Portugal’s capital city, we find not only the history of the past but also the reality of today. The multicultural city plays host to the 11th edition of Radiodays Europe.

In Praça do Comercio, a magnificent sunset blends the river and the urbanisation. Through the hills, we see Moorish heritage – where diversity provides the alleys with magical scents, colours and people.

Downtown, we find all kinds of stores in Chiado: tradition and modernity mix together. There are many goods that could be found around: fine leather goods, crystal ware, porcelain, golden and silver filigree, pottery, textiles and valuable books to vintage wines and canned fish or even chocolate.

But there is more, with gastronomical delights in every corner. From codfish to tapas – with cheese and sausages, it’s delightful food in cosy spaces. Or even a warm place to get some drinks, in Bairro Alto, Santos, Cais de Sodré or Principe Real.

Belém, the area where the Lisbon Congress Center (CCL) is located, is surrounded by gardens. Near the Tower of Belém and Jerónimos Monaster, there is unique heritage classified by UNESCO. Or even contemporary art, in MAAT (Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology), home to a Grada Kilomba piece (THE BOAT), or Cordoaria Nacional, housing Ai Weiwei’s exhibition, RAPTURE.

With so many rich things to do, there won’t be time to be bored. The outstanding city is here waiting, with the door open for you.
