How a career in broadcasting powers Germany’s first private radio station to be live & local!
Johannes Ott’s broadcasting career began in 1998 at the local station Radio Lindau on Lake Constance. In 1999, he moved to the Baden-Württemberg area station Radio 7, where he worked as a presenter and editor of the morning show. From 2004 to 2015, Ott was at Antenne Bayern, where he was in charge of on-air promotion, among other things. In 2015, the 43-year-old started at Germany’s first private radio station Radio Gong 96.3 in Munich as programme director and has been the station’s managing director since January 2021.
