Radiodays Europe announced today the next Podcast Day on 12th June 2018. Following the success of the first European Podcast Day 2017, the conference will once again be held in Copenhagen, Denmark at the Royal Library, “The Black Diamond”.
At last years Podcast Day over 200 participants listened to a speakers from the world of Podcasting. The conference was a fast paced mix of podcast content, innovation, strategy and business. Speakers and participants came from all over the world to discuss the success of podcasting and the future potential offers by this form of radio.
Anders Held, the RDE General Manager, said:‘Podcasting is exciting for all radio broadcaster, it’s brought new audience, new content and new way of doing radio. This year there was a real sense that Podcasting is the new frontier, breaking boundaries and innovating in ways traditional radio cannot or is unwilling to do so. We are excited to be able to run this event for a second time and, again, in such a fantastic venue right in the heart of Copenhagen. This year we expect even more participants and to expand the range of topics covered and focus on subjects touch on last year’.
The Podcast Day 2017 audience was made up of podcasters, radio broadcasters, producers, senior managers. A younger and more gender equal audience was in attendance at last year’s conference reflecting the growing world of podcasting.
Podcast Day 2018 offers participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Podcast World so Save the Date!
Registration for this conference will open in March 2018.
