After studying computer science, law and musicology, Markus Kühn worked as a composer and music consultant for various German TV stations and labels before joining Universal Records in Hamburg as Manager Marketing and New Media. Since 2001 he has been managing director of the agency business of m2m medien.marken.musik GmbH und Co KG and advises nationwide brands in the fields of communication and branded entertainment. Markus Kühn is managing partner of m2m Verwaltungs GmbH, under whose umbrella the Berlin radio station FluxFM, the digital music service FluxMusic and the technology company Radiosphere operate. For its innovative programming format, FluxFM was awarded the German Music Prize ECHO in 2013 and the German Radio Award in 2014, as well as the International Music Industry Award in Los Angeles. The second German Radio Award followed in 2018. From August 2020 FluxFM will also broadcast in Hamburg, Germany’s second biggest city, via FM.
