Georg Rose joins the speaker line-up in Munich

Georg Rose is editor-in-chief of Radio Wuppertal 107.4, a private local radio station in the city of Wuppertal, Germany, since 1997. Since 2023, he is also editor-in-chief of Radio Ennepe-Ruhr, another local radio station in North Rhine-Westphalia, which he re-startet in cooperation with Radio Wuppertal after it had been closed in 2020. In the past, he worked for several newspapers, the public WDR (radio and TV) and was editor-in-chief of four other private stations in Germany. Aside from that, he is instructor for journalistic research. In 2021, he and his team have been winner of the most important german radio award, “Deutscher Radiopreis”, for the reporting on the big flooding in Germany. In the past years, Georg won four other radio awards, above all for his merits in journalistic research.
