Estelle Cognacq began her career in 1998 in the Lagardère group as a reporter for Europe 1 and europe1.fr, before becoming the site's editor in 2005. She then coordinated cross-functional projects for the group's four news sites: europe1.fr, JDD.fr, ParisMatch.com and Le Lab. In July 2012, she joined franceinfo as deputy editor-in-chief of franceinfo.fr and is appointed editor-in-chief in 2013. In 2016, at the dawn of global media, Estelle Cognacq created Agence franceinfo, a unique organization in charge of verifying and certifying information, of which she became editor-in-chief. In 2017, she became deputy editor-in-chief of franceinfo, in charge of news certification. She pilots the Agency, the Cell Vrai du faux and the digital team on the radio side. In january 2021, Estelle Cognacq was appointed editorial director of franceinfo.
