Vicky is Head of News and Factual Podcasts at Global, the Media & Entertainment group. She oversees the UK’s most successful daily news podcast, The News Agents, along with some of the biggest factual podcasts in the UK including Full Disclosure with James O'Brien, Spencer Matthews’ Big Fish, and Sweeney Talks, hosted by investigative journalist John Sweeney. Vicky was part of the leadership team that led the national roll-out of LBC, now the UK’s largest commercial speech radio station with 3.5 million listeners a week. She joined Global in 2012 as Deputy Group Head of News and went on to lead a team of award-winning journalists and correspondents as Head of Newsgathering. Prior to Global, Vicky spent five years at the Guardian Media Group as News Editor after starting her career as a producer at ITV. She’s won multiple industry awards for documentaries and factual content including a Special Recognition Award from the UN for an investigation into modern day slavery.
